So this is my version of tomato bisque inspired soup. It was a long time ago that I had it for the first time. And when those flavors touched my tongue, I nearly died of ecstasy. Funny how some things make a lasting impression that you can recall so vividly as if it happened yesterday. Anyway, it was served to me at a wedding and it made such an impact that it is one memory I have never forgotten. I decided to make my own version of it today.
This recipe is simple, but satisfying. It’s thick, slightly creamy, tangy, and salty. And best of all, it’s fast and easy and can be made in under 10 minutes. It‘s also filling because of the cream and fat content so it can be eaten as a main dish or paired with a nice grilled cheese or other sandwich, wrap, crackers or toast. So, lets get to it. Scroll all the way down for this lovely recipe.
Oh, and btw, if you’re into food photography and you want to know how I conceptualized and styled this shoot, thats down below too beneath the recipe.
